Utterslev mose an Explorers guide

Join landscape architect Richard Hare for an explorer’s guide to Utterslev Mose – one of Copenhagen’s most distinctive green landscapes. We will look at the marsh as both a nature area and a designed landscape shaped by water, terrain, planting, paths and changing urban needs.

Along the way, Richard will help us read the landscape: how lakes, reedbeds, meadows, islands and wooded edges create habitats for birds, insects, plants and people, and how Utterslev Mose connects to Copenhagen’s wider green structure.

Richard Hare is a landscape architect and Teaching Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture, Planning and Design at the University of Copenhagen. He has previously guided walks on Utterslev Mose’s landscape architecture and is active in local nature care and Utterslev Moses Venner. The walk is for anyone curious about nature, recreation, history and future urban nature.
